Reflection of First Quarter

a. I can't think of anything memorable that happened to be honest, I just learn new things from each of the subjects and try to understand them in full detail. But I did discover on how often I go up to the teachers and ask them questions or clarification, like my brain was either not able to comprehend the task or I just need really specific details in order to satisfy it. I don't really know to be honest, but I do know that these lessons are getting a bit trickier to understand and it will be more complicated in each quarter I assume.

b. The major problem I really hate is the fact that I am unable to understand most of the Filipino language in the Tagalog/Ilocano subjects. I either have to use google translate, speaking to the teacher, or have one of my classmates translate it for me (Thank you Jillian btw), I don't even know why I speak mostly English, but I probably watched a lot of western cartoons which could be the reason. But at least I am getting a bit better at Filipino and could read some of it, so I think I'll be ok for this school year.

c. Like I said above, I just use some translators and take mental notes of the words that were translated. So, when I read or hear that word again, I can understand some sentences and use context clues to understand a situation. Yes, I am getting a bit better, but I still need some guidance in order to truly understand the language.

d. Moving on, I will just do my best in this school year and pass it, so that I can move on to the next grade. It doesn't matter if my average isn't high. As long as I get a passing grade to move on, I'll still be satisfied for what I have learned this school year.

It’s almost time until this school year ends, felt so long ago not going to lie. So the structure of this reflection is the same as always....
