National Children's Month is a great way to celebrate the happiness and joy of children for their optimism and energy. Unfortunately, though, some adults may not treat the children right as there are some parents that neglect and abuse their children, some children also get exploited from disgusting predators for their own selfish pleasure. Thankfully, the government has implemented laws that could ensure the safety of the young.
There are laws OSAEC and CSAEM that strengthen other existing laws that make stricter measures to protect the children from online harm that create any depictions of abuse. This law works with the Anti-Child Pornography Act of 2009 (R.A. No. 9775) and the Special Protection of Children Against Abuse, Exploitation, and Discrimination Act (R.A. No. 7610) to make sure that international treaties like the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child and other child protection protocols are followed. Even other organizations like Save the Children also exist in order to help children have a healthy life to experience.
With all these things here, I think the laws have helped greatly in protecting the children. Even though there might still be more abuse, there are responders that could be called into helping the young and make them feel safe. I hope all the children in the world(Including me) have a great and hopeful life ahead of them and we can expect all of them to be all great adults in the future.
