The holiday of love, Valentine's Day. The only thing I've done on this day is attending the 3rd Quarter Recognition. It was a small but good event that was held in our classroom, featuring a presentation of all the students who have gotten honors for the 3rd quarter, including me. We even had a small little intermission to showcase our love to our parents and teachers. After, we took pictures of our grades and went back home to eat.
When me and my mother went back home, my father was there. To our surprise, he had brought a bouquet of flowers as a gift to my mother, in which we told each other a happy valentine's as we embraced together as a family. It really grew my spirit high that day and I am grateful to have loving parents take care of me and my siblings.
Then in the afternoon, we attended church to get blessed by the Father. After that, we had our dinner at Shakey's, lots of people was crowded in there because of Valentine's. We managed to get our table there and waited for our food. When the food arrived, we ate it up, I ate lots of chicken and a garlic bread, it was all yummy for my tummy. There was also a talk between my parents and some other people at a table, who were people that my mother knew. I don't really know who they were, but it was fun seeing them chat.
After all of that, we rested our stomach and went on a trip back home. All in all, it was a very fun day to have experienced and was grateful to be there. I loved everything that happened on that and hope there more days like that. Happy Valentine's Day folks!
